Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to serve the students, families and community of Las Posas School as your new Principal.
 
I completed my undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. My Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration was earned at California Lutheran University.

I have been in the profession of education for twenty-eight years. I have taught at both the elementary and middle school grade levels: kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 7th grades and served as the Associated Student Body Advisor teaching leadership to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I am currently serving my twenty-first year in administration. 

I have lived in Ventura County for over forty-five years and currently reside in Camarillo with my wife Jamie (teacher in the PVSD) and family.  I am the proud father of four wonderful children: Carson (21), Charlotte (18), Lily (3) and Owen (1). 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, surfing, snowboarding, running, fishing and gardening.

My office has an Open Door Policy. Please do not hesitate to drop by and ask questions to ensure your student's academic success!
